STEPS
Line a 9 x 13 baking dish with parchment paper. Set aside.
In a large bowl, add the crushed pretzels and powdered sugar. Mix together with a whisk or a fork.
Add the melted butter and stir until combined. Mixture should look like pea-sized clumps.
Heat the peanut butter in the microwave for 20 seconds on high. Mix the peanut butter into the pretzel mixture until all is incorporated.
Scoop the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly in a thin layer.
With an extra piece of parchment paper, press down with fingertips until you have one solid even layer.
To make the topping, add the chocolate chips and peanut butter to a microwave-safe bowl.
Heat chocolate and peanut butter in the microwave on half-power. Start with 1 minute and stir then 15 second intervals stirring in between until chocolate is smooth.
Pour the chocolate mixture over the peanut butter/pretzel mixture. Take a spatula and smooth the top evenly.
Cover with lid or plastic wrap and place in the freezer for at least an hour before slicing into bars. Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
